Description
Omega3 is a highly concentrated fish oil supplement rich in EPA/DHA.
Omega 3s are polyunsaturated fats considered essential. In particular, their precursor (alpha-linolenic acid, ALA) cannot be synthesized by the body, and for this reason it must be taken by food.
Their main sources are fatty fish, especially rich in omega 3 EPA (eicosapentaneoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Currently, omega 3 fatty acids are attributed:
- Cardio- and vaso-protective properties, mediated by the antithrombotic and antihypertensive action;
- Anti-inflammatory properties;
- Neuroprotective properties, valuable in many neurodegenerative pathologies;
